My Indeterminacy of

Shaking
Documents of Live Performance

My Indeterminacy of Shaking is a narrative that describes an individual who is afraid of human touch.

This piece specifically, is a metaphor of painful birth as new immigrants, incorporating with my own experience, the work represents an emotion of bizarre otherness, loneliness, anxiety, isolation and blurred social identity. The primary material used in this piece, the same as my rest "used object project", is also abandoned clothing from unknown strangers.

All the elements presented here, the created object, the performance, the distance, together they unfold an account of personal narrative with incommensurable isolation and vulnerable psychological space, yet longing for connection.

 So that

 shaking

               is a symbol of fear,

                                    of desire,

                                    of touching.
